How to Wash and Care for Your Uniforms: A Quick Guide

At 1ST COVERALL, we want to help you get the most wear out of your uniforms. Proper care keeps them looking sharp and durable.

1. Check the Care Label
Always read the care label for fabric-specific washing instructions. Undo buttons, close zips, and check pockets before washing.

2. Wash in Cold or Warm Water
Use cold or warm water to avoid fading and shrinkage. Hot water can damage fibers over time.

3. Use Mild Detergent
Choose a detergent free from bleach and harsh chemicals to protect fabric and color.

4. Separate Colors
Wash light and dark items separately to avoid color transfer, especially on first washes.

5. Avoid Fabric Softeners
Skip softeners as they can affect breathability and performance fabrics. Use white vinegar for natural softness.

6. Dry with Care
Tumble dry on low or air dry to prevent shrinkage and fabric damage. Hanging uniforms reduces wrinkles.

7. Iron Only if Needed
Iron on low heat and avoid logos or embroidery. Use a cloth between the iron and fabric.

8. Store Properly
Hang uniforms on sturdy hangers in a well-ventilated space to maintain shape and avoid wrinkles.

By following these simple steps, your uniforms will stay looking professional and last longer. Feel free to reach out with any questions!

Note: Embroidery ring marks are normal and will wash out after the first wash.

Uniforms reflect your brand—care for them well to preserve quality and professionalism.
